check her out

This is my little sister, Chelsea. Yes, I said little even though she is taller, smarter, gorgeous and more amazing than me, her older sister. She is in nursing school at SDSU and really doing amazing things. Check out her blog (a little bit of everything), she tells the stories of a girl in nursing school. I guess this post is just to say, I am so proud of her. She is amazing and has been though a lot in regards to decisions about life. She married an amazing boy from a great family, got great grades in school, took risks, moved to San Diego and is now chasing her dream and doing it so elegantly. Love you chelly belly

simplify

This is all I really need to say about today. Work is about to change drastically, so I am on the prowl for a grown up job. I need money (what can I say!?)... so I am looking into things today. ALSO I need a new place to live... so I am trying not to get down. The snow did not help with that at all; however, a very amazing boy took me to olive garden to eat some yummy breadsticks, salad and chicken & gnocchi soup for our FIVE months! :)

Today was a great day. I only worked until two... also blissful. Also, I was able to go to my cousin's kids birthday party (<------ fistful of daisies, check her out). It was fun listening to justin beiber, painting nails and getting my face painted. It was just a moment that you wanted to just take a snapshot and just relive all of the happiness of these girls over and over again. Trent and I then went out to sushi and just sat and watched some nerdy shows on netflicks. It was great, now off to bed... I have high hopes tomorrow will live up to this quote too.

Five dollar wreath

I was supposed to go to a craft night last week, it was canceled, so I decided to make the craft myself. I went to Michaels ( hobby lobby was not open, don't worry) and bought some supplies.

Wood wreath- 3.49 ( BUT I got it 40 % off) = 2.10
Paper Bags- huge sack at walmart- 1.99 ( I used half)
Glue gun ( already had it)
Total craft cost = 4.09 most cost at least three times that

The tutorial suggested using a paper cut out, if you have one laying around, great! If not, and you do not want to spend 16 dollars on one, use a mug and trace about four per paper bag. But a couple bags together, use some heavy duty scissors and cut out 4 or 5 bags at a time.
Grab each circle and wrap it around a pencil, pen, or in my case a twistable. Put a dot of glue on the edge of it an push it onto the wood ( ps, you can use a styrofoam wreath; however, they do cost more). Place them close together and it will look like this...

I plan on mod podging an L to put in the middle of it... oh so antro right!?

Parasites.... or just plan inspiration

I was browsing all my photos on facebook from freshman and sophomore year... here is a picture of my room mate and I at festival of trees. And here is me now.. this is not because of some diet or anything it is just from a blessed thing called parasites, which I FINALLY had been free of for a week now... three years of those suckers and now they are gone! So, with the holidays coming up and other life events in the future, I have once again put myself up to a challenge to get back into half marathon running shape and just eat healthier... it needs to happen... soon!
