Help me please...

So, I totally though my room was so cute, until I took this picture. I need some serious design help. I think we have a good start with our silver bedspread and the purple curtains and blanket. I want to bring some vibrant pieces into our room! These bare walls are killing me!!! You are all more than welcome to come over too and give me your advice!!!!

    Oh how fun! Thank you for finally putting up a picture! I like the silver and purple colors together. I don't know what bright color would work with it??? I really like those cute little lamps you have. Darling!

    maybe some kind of yellow? i know it's cute with purple, but I'm not so sure about the silver...

    you could use little pops of turquoise and lots more purple to bring in some more color. And if you want more of a pattern on the walls, you could cut huge strips of vinyl and make stripes on the walls...perhaps in white to create a really subtle tone-on-tone striped effect. I'm not a huge fan of vinyl sayings everywhere...but vinyl is so renter-friendly, and one striped wall (maybe the one at the head of the bed?) could be a really fun visual effect.

    you could "wallpaper" an accent wall with fabric (curtain panels work really well) and liquid starch. it would probably take you 20 minutes total and when it comes time for you to move out, just spray it with water and it will peel right off. message me on fb if you need details. or just google it!

    it's PERFECT for renters. ;-)

    Try a headboard!!! Seriously the easiest thing in the world, and I have a staple gun if you need it. Only about $50 and it makes all the difference! (And you can take it with you when you move!!)
