Dear Self...

you are getting married in 44 days, you need to get on the ball. Licorice and dots are not included in this... any motivation from you brides?

  2. get so stressed out and busy that you forget to eat. I was lighter than I was in high school when we got married because I'd forget to eat and it was just go go go go go go.
ok, so maybe that's not healthy...do something healthy.

  3. i did what sarah did. but yeah. not on purpose and i wouldn't recommend it. chris told me a few months ago (after looking at some of our wedding pictures) that my arms aren't as small as they used to be. i think you shouldn't lose any weight for the wedding... that way your hubby won't tell you in three years that your arms aren't as skinny as they used to be...

just kidding. well, with the story. not kidding that i think you shouldn't bother dieting. make one good lifestyle goal for now and stick with it. i love you lots.

  4. Keri agrees with Carrie. Don't bother dieting, it's stressful. Exercise instead. Better to eat what you want and work out then to be unhappy with what you eat and be inactive. Works for me!

  5. If you're living a healthy lifestyle, that's the best you can do for yourself. Not eating will make life more stressful and possibly change the fit of your dress (more stress!) And if you feel like full meals are making you bloat/overfull just eat little snacks throughout the day (an apple, half a sandwich, fruit with cottage cheese, half portions at dinner, etc.)

The wedding night: he'll love you no matter what. Also, depending on how much you've planned for the actual wedding day, you'll be way tired come to it and it'll be dark. ;)

  6. As much as he will love you no matter what... I wanted to look my very best in my wedding dress so that I always had a standard for myself as time went on. I dropped to 300-500 calories a day and worked out every day. I found that all I really had to do at the gym was kill myself on the stair stepper for like 30 mins, and spend some one-on-one time with my favorite ab machine and I ended up feeling great. I don't suggest you do anything crazy but this is what I did for the last 4 weeks and I felt good about it. Just a heads up though - I gained 5 pounds back right after.

  7. I was reading something the other day that made perfect sense. It said you dont have to kill yourself to lose weight. In fact, studies were showing that people who had a more balanced, relaxed life style were the ones that lost the weight. They said if you stick to a plan you LIKE than you are more likely to stay with it. Good reading... here's the link
